On 28/03/2014, a written test was taken for 3rd and 4th class recruitment in 26 Civil Surgeon Office and offices underneath-Rajbari / Gazipur / Barguna / Madaripur / Rangpur / Dinajpur / Kurigram / Lalmonirhat / Panchagarh / Nilphamari / Thakurgaon / Gaibandha / Jamalpur / Natore / Faridpur / Chapainowabgonj / Pirojpur / Bhola / Shariatpur / Gopalganj / Moulavibajar / Manikganj / Narshingdi / Brahmanbaria / Joypurhat and Lalmonirhat 100 bed hospitals. Result has been published for 3rd and 4th Class Recruitment Examination. The selected candidates will be called for Viva-voce.

Through a nationwide program being held in upazilas (sub-districts) throughout Bangladesh on 2 April 2014, all community clinics (over 12,500) and union health sub-centers (1,275) will receive laptops and Internet modems and about 12,000 community health workers will receive 2G/3G enabled tablet computers. These devices will be used for health data collection, work-attendance monitoring, delivering health services like telemedicine and multi-media health education of clients, and e-learning of health staffs.
